WALDRUM UNLEASHED OSOALA, NNADOZIE, PLUMPTRE AHEAD OF OLYMPIC QUALIFIERS AGAINST BAYANABAYANA

Super Falcons coach, Randy Waldrum has called up reigning African Female Footballer of the year, Asisat Oshoala,current best goalkeeper in Africa, Chiamaka Nnadozie and  20 others for the 2024 Paris Olympics qualifiers double header against South Africa next month.



Rock Solid defender Ashley Plumptre, energetic midfielder Deborah Abiodun, and prolific goal poachers Esther Okoronkwo and Uchenna Kanu, also make up the squad that will be aspiring to  clinch a ticket for Nigeria at the 2024 Olympics women’s football event.


The Super Falcons will play their first leg  match at  home on Friday, 5th April, 2024, at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja before jetting out  to Pretoria, South Africa for the return leg  at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Tuesday, 9th April against Bayana Bayana.


The winner over two legs will earn one of Africa’s two tickets to this year’s Women’s Olympic Football Tournament in Paris, with Zambia and Morocco to clash for the other ticket on the same dates.
