Earlier Today, Confluence Queens football club of Lokoja has departed the capital city of Kogi state enroute to Yenagoa for the prestigious elite tournament, the NWFL Super Six scheduled kick off at the Samson Siasia Stadium Yenagoa, Bayelsa state. 


The Lokoja Landladies will be slogging it out with five other elite teams such as group mates Nasarawa Amazons, Heartland Queens, Rivers Angels, Bayelsa Queens and Edo Queens.

  The National Sports commission has congratulated Joshua Aiyenuro Babatunde for setting a new record for the longest professional hairdressing marathon which he just concluded at the velodrome of the Abuja National stadium. Tjosh as he is popularly called embarked on the record breaking mission on the 10th of June 2025 and finished on Tuesday, June 17th 2025.
