My office is open to suggestions, ideas and opinions on how to tackle insecurity in Bwari Area Council ~ Gabaya

The Bwari Area Council chairman, Dr John Gabaya, have said that his office and himself personally is open and ready to receive anybody or group of people who have suggestions, ideas and opinions on how to tackle insecurity in the council.


This was made known by the council's secretary, Hon Eli Peter Kadanya,who represented him  at a security summit organized by Coalition of Nigeria Youth on Security and Safety Affairs (CONYSSA) to discuss how challenging issue of incessant kidnapping in Bwari area can be tackled.


In his word "  Council is open to suggestions, ideas,information and opinions on how insecurity issues can be tackled in Bwari Area Council ".


He further revealed that the council is making significant progress in it's discussion with necessary authorities in making sure that operational base of the Nigeria Army will be established in Bwari  which will go along way in tackling insecurity in the area.


He however appealed to the residents to continue to be vigilant and be security conscious, by giving intelligent information to the security personnel. He also commended the traditional rulers for their efforts in their domains but appealed to them not to relent.

Meanwhile, he thanked the organiser of the summit CONYSSA, for coming up with such event and said it's timely. He further praised FCT minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike for his support to the council and called on other stakeholders to as well join hand in tackling insecurity in the area.
