Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu has announced a token of Ten Million Naira (10,000,000) for the overall best graduating student of Lagos State University, Olaniyi Mubaraq Olawale, Accounting Education, who graduated with a CGPA of 4.98.

Mr Governor made this announcement today at the Lagos State University (LASU) Grand Finale of the 27th Convocation Ceremony.

It takes hard work, dedication, determination, discipline, decision and focus to graduate with this type of CGPA most especially now that many students get distracted with frivolity and social media razzmatazz.

  The National Sports commission has congratulated Joshua Aiyenuro Babatunde for setting a new record for the longest professional hairdressing marathon which he just concluded at the velodrome of the Abuja National stadium. Tjosh as he is popularly called embarked on the record breaking mission on the 10th of June 2025 and finished on Tuesday, June 17th 2025.
