Lack of maintenance and neglect causes Mobolaji Johnson Arena Stadium ugly state~ Ebi Egbe

Ebi Egbe, expressed his displeasure over the state of the stadium who many people who watched the final match of President Federation cup over the weekend described as disgraceful as some persons  were seen patching the pitch during the half time match of the female final match between Rivers Angels and Naija Ratels.

While speaking on the condition of the stadium, Ebi Egbe, said " Is  it possible to drive a commercial bus without Maintenance?, MBJ hybrid synthetic pitch is the most abused pitch in the world. Over 3 years without recourse to one single Maintenance. Every Lagos state non football traffic and heavy football traffic takes place on that same pitch.


He further said "I have been shouting Maintenance, but, unfortunately act of  greediness by some individuals in Lagos state sports council are just not interested because they are collecting stipends for the use of the pitch and probably collecting stipends from the state Government for what they have zero idea of".

The CEO of of Monimochelle Facilities Construction  Limited, further referred to one of the best football pitches in Nigeria that was constructed using same hybrid synthetic pitch and it current nature.

"Let them go to Remo Stars stadium hybrid synthetic pitch and see how Kunle Soname looks after that pitch. Maintanance plays a pivotal role in durability and sustainability".
