PRESIDENT FEDERATION CUP: FCT FA CHAIRMAN, ADAM MOUKTAR CONGRATULATES NAIJA RATELS ON PERFORMANCE, URGES TEAM NOT TO DESPAIR
The Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCTFA) Chairman, Alhaji Adam Mouktar Muhammed congratulates the Players, Coaches and Management of Abuja based Female Football Club, Naija Ratels on their gallant performance in the final against Rivers Angels during the 2024 President Federation Cup Final, held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos.

The FCT FA Chairman, Adam Mouktar, congratulates the entire team for their display of team spirit, resilient and determination despite the slim score defeat by their opponent. He commends the team for going against all odds as debutants and even making it to the final.
Alhaji Mouktar urges the team to take the journey as positive and a work in progress for greater heights in the nearest future.
"I want to say congratulations to you all on your performance despite the defeat. Don't be discouraged. You have all shown that great team can emerge from the FCT. We salute your gallantry. We are proud of you. We have our heads up high with your performance despite getting here for the first time".
"You are our heroins. We would continue to support you and motivate you. Don't take this as a downcast, it is a step up. It is a process for the greater tomorrow. Thirty Eighty teams participated in this competition. You are first runner up. You are finalists and Silver Medalists. You are going up. The future is here and brighter. The FCT FA is solidly behind you.
Adam Mouktar further charge the girls and the coaching crew and management of the team to continue to discover and nurture great talents as they have always done.
He also appreciate fans and journalists who traveled all the way to Lagos to cheer and support the team.
"We love football in the FCT. Don't rest on your oars. You have Naija Ratels that have made us proud. It is no mean feat. To you our fans and our key partners the men of the press, you are all highly commended for your show of support and reportage on our great girls. You are part of the success. We would do more to bring the Cup to the Capital City".
Naija Ratels lost in a slim lone goal in the final against Champions Rivers Angels.
In same vein, the FCT FA Chairman congratulates the Nigeria Football Federation and sponsor on the success of the competition describing it as Federation Cup remade in beauty and glamour.
The final of the Female 2024 President Federation Cup was held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos on June 29.
Newly promoted NPFL side, El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri defeated Abia Warriors by 2-0 goals to get the Cup and a Continental ticket in the men's category.
