The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) and brain behind Teworh professional sports and social Entrepreneur, Dr Suraj Abdulwahab, have describe Sports and Social Entrepreneurship as the gateway to success for athletes and other individuals who want to have a successful life, because, opportunities abounds in sports.


He stated this today during the first Sports and Social Entrepreneurship Education Summit 2024, that was  held at Veragold hotel hall, along Kubwa express way Abuja.


Dr Sura,j who is passionate sports entrepreneurial emphasized on the enormous potentials and business angles that are embedded in sports. He said, many people sees sports from the surface which is  to play football or engage in other sporting activities but the benefit therein are unquatifiable.


The event has it's  theme  as  "Sports Entrepreneurship:  Untapped Goldmine". Dr Suraj who is the convener of the summit appealed to Government and individuals to support sports and tap into it's wealth which he described as raw gold.


The event created an avenue for participants who are young footballers, coaches, sports owners, sports entrepreneurial, sports journalists, sports agents, parents, sports enthusiasts among other participants to learn and as well acquire knowledge about sports and social Entrepreneurship.


 While speaking to journalists, Dr Suraj,  said he  is passionate about sports Entrepreneurship and  he will not stop projecting the important and the interwoven nature of sports, entrepreneurship, wealth creation and human capacity development despite facing diverse challenges which he see as stepping stone to greatness.


He however admonished the participants to utilise the knowledge acquired during the summit and impact their lives and that of others positively.

FCT FA Cracks the Whip: Duo Gets Indefinite Suspension for Gross Misconduct and Unsporting Behavior.

  The Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCTFA) Ethics and Disciplinary Committee has suspended indefinitely  two of  their members, Babatunde Akintade Bocknor and Ezeh Ngozi Victoria. The allegations against them include misconduct during the bye-election for the 1st Vice Chairman position, which brought the association into disrepute. Additionally, they failed to appear before the committee despite receiving official invitations.
