FCT SWAN Begins Preparations For NUJ Football Tournament

 












Team FCT SWAN has begun training in Area 3 ahead of the 2024 NUJ Correspondent Chapel Football Tournament.


According to Friday Joshua who doubles as Assistant Secretary, FCT SWAN/ Team Media Officer, 14 players took part in the first session. They include top players like Amar Ignis, Udeme George and Muyideen Jimoh. Other big names include Emmanuel Fashemi, Charles Aidoghie, Victor Ijomah, Imonah Franklyn and Saheed Oladimeji.


New invite Ebuka Ike was present alongside Ohiero Linus and Godstime Egelege-Idama.


Meanwhile, Calistus Ebare, Micheal Obasi, Jonathan Ameh and Olalekan Kilajolu are expected to join the team.


Team Coordinator, Tolu Oguntimehin who expressed satisfaction on the attitude of the players, noted the team has what it takes to emerge champions.


The coach of Team FCT SWAN, Abdul Onimisi however disclosed that only the best legs will make the final list.


Team FCT SWAN will begin their campaign against AIBEN on Thursday 12th, July 2024 by 12pm at the Old Parade Ground, Area 10 Garki Abuja.

FCT FA Cracks the Whip: Duo Gets Indefinite Suspension for Gross Misconduct and Unsporting Behavior.

  The Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCTFA) Ethics and Disciplinary Committee has suspended indefinitely  two of  their members, Babatunde Akintade Bocknor and Ezeh Ngozi Victoria. The allegations against them include misconduct during the bye-election for the 1st Vice Chairman position, which brought the association into disrepute.
