A Leader's Legacy: Ijumu Development Union hails Senator Smart Adeyemi on his birthday

The Ijumu Development Union (IDU) has joined millions of Okun citizens in celebrating the birthday of Senator Smart Adeyemi, a renowned leader and philanthropist. In a statement, the National President of IDU expressed warmest and heartfelt congratulations to Senator Adeyemi on his special day.


The national president of IDU, Mr Olorunmaiye Kayode, described Senator Adeyemi  as a beacon of courage in leadership, with an unwavering commitment to the progress of Ijumu, Okun, and the advancement of democracy in Kogi State. 


He further said that his exemplary leadership has earned him recognition as a Parliamentarian of great repute at the National, International, and ECOWAS Parliamentary levels.


The IDU praised Senator Adeyemi's immense contributions to human capital development, empowerment of the less privileged, youths, education, health, and infrastructural development. His impact transcends Ijumu boundaries, benefiting the broader Kogi State. According to John C. Maxwell, Senator Adeyemi is a great leader who has influenced lives in Okun and beyond.


The IDU acknowledged Senator Adeyemi's selfless service and dedication to the people of Okun and Kogi State. His leadership has brought about significant positive change, and his legacy continues to inspire future generations.
