Samson Siasia, a former Super Eagles player and coach, is now eligible to take the reins as the new head coach of the Nigerian national team, having served his four-year FIFA-imposed ban. The ban, resulting from allegations of match-fixing in 2019, has been completed, and Siasia is eager to return to the dugout.

With an impressive coaching record, Siasia boasts achievements such as leading the Super Eagles to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and the 2016 African Nations Championship title. His previous stint as Super Eagles coach saw a remarkable 22 wins, 5 draws, and 5 losses, with a 64.7% win percentage. He successfully oversaw the team's qualification for the 2014 World Cup, where they reached the round of 16.

Siasia's experience and achievements make him a strong candidate for the coaching role, vacant since Finidi George's departure. The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) is currently searching for a new head coach, and Siasia's name is being mentioned by football administrators, fans, and supporters.

With his expertise, confident level, exposure, and tactical prowess, Siasia is poised to lead the Super Eagles to success and make Nigerians proud. The NFF is expected to announce the new head coach soon, and Siasia's appointment would be a popular choice among Nigerian football fans.
