Sporting Dreams FC and Starlite FC conquered the Bwari Coaches summer youth football championship 2024 in grand style. The intriguing championship reached its climax  after weeks of intense competition, as Sporting Dreams FC and Starlite FC emerged winners in the U13, U15, and U17 categories, respectively.

In the first match, which decided the U15 category between Sporting Dreams and Yaba Stars, the score ended at two goals apiece at regulation time, but Sporting Dreams won by four goals to two via a penalty shootout. The match showcased impressive football artistry, and fans on the ground enjoyed every bit of it.

Sporting Dreams continued their dominance in the U13 category by defeating Bwari United by four goals to three, also through penalties, after the match ended in a goalless draw after ninety minutes.

The last match of the day in the U17 category saw Starlite FC emerging as the winner, but not without stiff competition from Optimum FC, who forced the match to a penalty shootout after the match finished in regulation time by a goal apiece. However, Optimum FC succumbed, scoring nine kicks, while Starlite converted ten.

Awards were presented to individuals and teams, including player of the tournament, highest goal scorers, best goalkeepers, team of the tournament, most disciplined coach, and other categories.

Speaking after the matches, the chairman of Starlite FC, Surveyor Adoyi Samuel, commended the organizer for putting together a professional and well-organized competition. He said it has exposed young players and motivated them to focus on their lives and make their families, communities, and Nigeria proud. He further admonished those with the passion and resources to support football, especially the Bwari Coaches summer youth football championship, to do so.

Mr. Chucks Emmanuel (MFR), the AMAC football council chairman, rated the organizer high and admonished other councils to emulate them. He further said that with the players discovered during the competition, Nigeria will have no issues in the future if they are properly nurtured. He also called on business owners and organizations to sponsor football competitions, which will contribute to Nigeria's development.

The competition is an annual event, and the 2025 edition is expected to be bigger and better.
