Ebi Egbe Shines as Newstap/SWAN Five Star Sports Award Unveils Winners

Mr. Ebi Egbe, CEO of Monimichelle Group, has emerged as one of the winners of the prestigious Newstap/SWAN Five Star Sports Award. He's  joined by four other distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions to sports development in Nigeria.


The other awardees include Executive Governor of Benue State, Reverend Father Hycinth Alia; President of NPFL side Kunle Soname; Chairman of Benue FA, Barrister Paul Edeh; and Strategic Partners of NPFL, GTI Assets Management and Trust Limited.


According to the organizers, the selection process was rigorous, with numerous nominees vying for the award. However, these five individuals stood out for their passion, commitment, and immense contributions to Nigerian sports ¹.


The award ceremony is scheduled to take place in Lagos on February 27, 2025. This recognition is expected to encourage the awardees to continue their excellent work and challenge others to strive for excellence in Nigerian sports.

FCT FA Cracks the Whip: Duo Gets Indefinite Suspension for Gross Misconduct and Unsporting Behavior.

  The Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCTFA) Ethics and Disciplinary Committee has suspended indefinitely  two of  their members, Babatunde Akintade Bocknor and Ezeh Ngozi Victoria. The allegations against them include misconduct during the bye-election for the 1st Vice Chairman position, which brought the association into disrepute. Additionally, they failed to appear before the committee despite receiving official invitations.
