The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja Football Association has taken a significant step towards reorganization, following the successful completion of the bye-election for the position of 1st Vice Chairman. The Electoral and Appeal Committee, which oversaw the election process, has been commended for their commitment to transparency, fairness, and integrity.

According to Adam Mouktar Mohammed, Chairman of the FCT Football Association, the committee's diligent work ensured the smooth conduct of the election. The Association has officially received the committee's report, paving the way for the dissolution of all standing committees, including the Electoral and Appeal Committee, and all special committees.

This move is aimed at injecting new energy and vibrancy into the Association's operations. The formation of new committees will take place shortly, following consultation with key stakeholders and the incorporation of their valuable input. This consultation process is crucial to ensure that the new committees are aligned with the evolving needs and vision of the Abuja Football Association.

As the FCT Football Association embarks on this restructuring journey, Chairman Adam Mouktar Mohammed reaffirmed the Association's commitment to ensuring the progress of football in the Federal Capital Territory. With the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders, the Association is poised to achieve new heights and enhance the vibrancy of football in the FCT.
