African Center for Human Advancement, Social and Community Development (ACHASCOD) set to empower 100 Women in Ilorin, Kwara State.

As the world celebrates International Women's Day (IWD) 2025, the African Center for Human Advancement, Social and Community Development (ACHASCOD) is set to empower 100 women, especially widows, in Ilorin, Kwara State.


According to Dr. Opeyemi Aderinto, Executive Director of ACHASCOD, "We are committed to supporting women's empowerment and gender equality. Our project aims to provide economic and social support to 100 women in Ilorin, Kwara State."


Dr. Aderinto explained that the project is part of ACHASCOD's efforts to contribute to the global policy framework on women's empowerment and gender equality. "We believe that empowering women is key to achieving sustainable development and social justice," she said.


The lucky beneficiaries will be notified about the date, time, and venue of the event, which will take place in Ilorin, Kwara State. ACHASCOD's project is a testament to the critical role that NGOs play in promoting women's empowerment and gender equality.
