FCT President Cup Final: Defending Champions EFCC FC faces stiff challenge from FWC FC

The FCT President Cup has reached its crescendo, with defending champions EFCC FC set to clash with Family Worship Champions FC (FWC FC) in the final match. The highly anticipated encounter is scheduled to take place at the FCT Sports Complex in Abuja.


In the semifinals, EFCC FC edged out Galadima FC 1-0 in the Match Day 6 clash, while FWC FC defeated N-Youth Academy 4-1 in a penalty shootout after a 0-0 stalemate.


EFCC FC will be seeking to defend their title, while FWC FC aims to claim their first FCT President Cup trophy. The final match promises to be an exciting encounter between two familiar teams, having faced each other in previous matches.


The FCT President Cup has showcased thrilling football, with the semifinal stage featuring highly competitive matches. The final match is expected to be a thrilling conclusion to the tournament.

  The National Sports commission has congratulated Joshua Aiyenuro Babatunde for setting a new record for the longest professional hairdressing marathon which he just concluded at the velodrome of the Abuja National stadium. Tjosh as he is popularly called embarked on the record breaking mission on the 10th of June 2025 and finished on Tuesday, June 17th 2025.
