Mahanaim FC's winning streak continued with a thrilling 2-0 victory over FC Sarkin Daji in the first leg of their friendly tie. The match, held at the Brown Check School in Abuja, saw Mahanaim FC struggle to find their rhythm until substitute Mohammed Sylla broke the deadlock with two stunning goals in the 89th and 95th minutes.

Stand-in captain Emmanuel Elijah praised Coach Saheed Jimoh's tactical genius, saying, "The coach made crucial changes at halftime, switching to a 4-2-4 formation and introducing more attacking players. It was a game-changer."

FC Sarkin Daji's Coach Ikechukwu took the loss in stride, viewing it as a valuable learning experience. "We came, we saw, and we lost. But it was a great experience for my players to adapt to different situations."

The two teams will clash again in the second leg of the friendly tie next Thursday at the FIFA Goal Project center inside the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.
