Plateau United head coach Mbwas Mangut is confident that his team can finish the season on a high note after securing a hard fought 1-0 victory over Rangers in Enugu.

The win at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Thursday boosted Plateau United's position in the league standings, with the Jos-based club climbing to 11th place on the NPFL table with 41 points from 31 matches.

Mangut hailed the significance of the result, saying, "This victory means a lot to us. We faced a tough period, but we are gradually picking up points."

The coach believes that the win over Rangers will give his team the momentum needed to finish the season strong. "Beating Rangers gives us more confidence to finish the season strong," he said.

With the win, Plateau United's hopes of a top finish have been reignited, and Mangut will be looking to build on this momentum in their upcoming matches.
