Zamalek makes it three in a row, wins 2025 African Women's Volleyball Inter-Cub Championship

Zamalek Sporting Club of Egypt has retained the African Women's Volleyball Inter-Cub Championship title, defeating rivals Al Ahly 3-1 (29-27, 22-25, 25-20, 25-22) in the final match.


The defending champions dominated the game, dictating the pace in the first, third, and fourth sets. Al Ahly managed to win the second set 25-22, but Zamalek's overall performance was too strong to overcome.


This win marks Zamalek's third consecutive championship title, having won the tournament in 2023 and 2024. The team's consistent dominance in the competition is a testament to their skill and dedication.


With this victory, Zamalek cements its position as a powerhouse in African women's volleyball, and fans will be eager to see what the future holds for this talented team.
