Machaty Stadium and High Level Underpass Projects Under Scrutiny

Concerns have been raised about the quality of infrastructure standard of Machaty Stadium and the High Level underpass.

The Machaty Stadium, renovated to "international standard" according to the current handlers, has already shown signs of vulnerability to weather conditions. A few drops of rain have seen washed away grasses, raising questions about its durability during the peak rainy season from August to October.

Similarly, the High Level underpass project has been criticized for alleged  lack of proper water channels, resulting in flooding that affects nearby houses. Residents in the area are said to be  worried about the fate of their homes during the peak rainy season.

The issues with these project have sparked concerns among the residence about the competence of the contractors and engineers handling the project.

The public is calling for accountability and transparency in the execution of these projects to ensure that they meet the required standards and serve the needs of the community.
