Sport Integrity Foundation sounds call to action for National Sports Festival

As the National Sports Festival gets underway in Ogun State, the Sport Integrity Foundation (SIF) has issued a rallying cry for integrity, fair play, and respect to be prioritized throughout the competition.


In a statement, SIF urged the Main Organizing Committee (MOC) and Local Organizing Committee (LOC) to adopt best practices that promote fair play, safety of athletes, and clean sport. The foundation emphasized the importance of providing a clear pathway and strategies to improve competition organization in Nigeria.


SIF also reminded athletes that competing clean, fair, and with respect is paramount, while calling on officials to take responsibility and be accountable at all times.


To ensure the integrity of the competition, SIF has deployed its members to observe and promote the games in Ogun State.


As the festival progresses, SIF wishes all participants the best, reminding everyone that the greatness of Nigerian sports is a collective responsibility.

FCT FA Cracks the Whip: Duo Gets Indefinite Suspension for Gross Misconduct and Unsporting Behavior.

  The Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCTFA) Ethics and Disciplinary Committee has suspended indefinitely  two of  their members, Babatunde Akintade Bocknor and Ezeh Ngozi Victoria. The allegations against them include misconduct during the bye-election for the 1st Vice Chairman position, which brought the association into disrepute. Additionally, they failed to appear before the committee despite receiving official invitations. In accordance with the association's constitution, both members have the right to appeal the decision within a stipulated timeframe.
