FCT FA League kicks off in style as 18 clubs battle for supremacy

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is set to witness a thrilling month long football spectacle as 18 clubs compete in the 2025 FCT Football Association League. 


The tournament, which is expected to  kicked off in Abuja on Monday will see  18 teams divided into three groups slugging it out  with teams converging at  match venues like the Area 3 Playing Pitch and the Old Parade Ground.


Groups and the teams that will play in each pool include Group A CASMATT FC, Defence Strikers, Gwarinpa United, Golden Boys, IB Sports, and Royal FC.


Meanwhile, Group B comprises of  Pride FC, Youthful Ballers FA, Optimum Sports, Makinz FC, Camp United, and RAMSAKY FC


Group C is made up of  Ejike Ugboaja, Basic Maracana, Abees FA, Future Guarantee, Sofae Sports, and Sensational Stars


The top two teams from each group are expected to  advance to the Super Six round, where the ultimate champions will be crowned. 


With skills, passion, and pride on full display, fans are in for a treat in the heart of Nigeria's capital.
