Their release was announced by  Kaduna State Government in  a statement signed by the state Governor, Uba Sani.   Nigeria Weightlifting Federation, (NWF) President, Dr Ibrahim Abdul (PhD), FCISM, OCP, CMC has praised the performance of Team Nigeria Weightlifting following their excellent performances at the on-going Africa Games in Accra, Ghana's capital.  The weightlifting event ended on Friday with Nigeria placed 2nd in overall medals table with 32 medals comprising 16 gold, 10 silver and 6 bronze.   Experienced football administrator Bashir Badawiy has expressed happiness following his return to Kwara United as General Manager. The Ira born administrator left the Harmony Boys before the commencement of the ongoing NPFL season after working hard for three solid seasons.
